Tennessee Pell Grant

  • The Tennessee Pell Grant is used for attending college. You can use this grant at any college in Tennessee as long as they participate in the Federal Student Aid Program if your school has a 6-digit federal school code. You will be able to know if you are eligible for the Pell Grant by your EFC. If your EFC is lower than $6206, then you are eligible.   • There are also many other sources of financial aid for Tennessee students.
    • The Tennessee Student Assistance Award (TSAA) provides need-based grants to Tennessee residents attending in-state colleges and universities.
    • The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) provides various scholarships and grants to Tennessee residents, including the Tennessee Student Assistance Award (TSAA).
    • The Tennessee HOPE Scholarship provides merit-based scholarships to Tennessee residents who meet certain academic requirements.
    • The Tennessee Promise provides free community college tuition to Tennessee residents who meet certain income and academic requirements.
    • The Tennessee National Guard Educational Assistance Program offers financial assistance to members of the Tennessee National Guard.
    • The University of Tennessee Grants and Scholarship program offers various institutional scholarships and grants to students attending University of Tennessee.
    • The Tennessee State University Grants and Scholarship program offers various institutional scholarships and grants to students attending Tennessee State University.
