Pell Grant Application

The Pell Grant application is a very important step in order to receive financial aid. In order to apply for the Pell Grant, students must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is an online application that collects information about a student’s financial situation and eligibility factors in order to determine their eligibility for federal student aid programs, including the Pell Grant. Students must complete the FAFSA each year in order to remain eligible for the grant.

Once the FAFSA is completed, students will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) that outlines their eligibility for federal student aid. The SAR will also outline the amount of Pell Grant funding that the student is eligible for and any other grants or scholarships that may be available to them. After the SAR is received, students will need to follow up with their college’s financial aid office in order to complete the necessary paperwork for their Pell Grant award.
