Title
IV aid is the name of the laws and regulations governing the
Federal Student Aid Programs. Schools must apply to participate
in the programs, and there are hundreds of laws and regulations
that govern them.
To
stay eligible for Title IV programs, schools must follow all
laws and stay up to date on new regulations. All of the Title
IV regulations are public information and your local library
should have them. Your school is also required to have this
information on file.
You
can also call the Federal Student Aid Information Center help
line for information about the FAFSA or federal financial aid
