2024 World U20 Championships (Lima, Peru)

At the World Athletics U20 Championships held in Lima from August 27-31, 2024, Echevarria achieved top-8 finishes, demonstrating her ability to compete at the highest level of junior athletics. She was part of the Puerto Rican women’s 4x100m relay team that finished in fifth place, contributing to a strong showing for her country.

2025 Pan American U20 Championships (Bogotá, Colombia)

Echevarria delivered a breakthrough performance at the Pan American U20 Championships held October 3-5, 2025, in Bogotá, where she captured gold in the long jump. This victory established her as one of the premier young jumpers in the Americas.

As the leadoff runner for Puerto Rico’s 4x100m relay team, she helped set a new national U20 record of 44.58 seconds. The relay squad, which included three athletes who had competed together at the 2024 World U20 Championships (Echevarria, Frances Colon, and Karina Franceshi), improved their previous national mark by more than half a second. This performance exemplified the team’s growth and Echevarria’s consistent excellence in relay competition.
