ESPERANZA RUEDA – Spanish Sprint Athlete
Esperanza Rueda is an emerging Spanish track and field athlete who competes in sprint events, representing Spain on the national and international stage. As a versatile sprinter, she has demonstrated her talents across multiple distances, specializing in the 60 meters, 100 meters, and 200 meters events.
Athletic Accomplishments:
Rueda has established herself as a competitor in Spanish athletics with personal bests that showcase her speed and determination. Her personal best in the 100 meters stands at 12.28 seconds, achieved in May 2024 during competitions in Castellón, Spain. In the indoor season, she has clocked 7.78 seconds in the 60 meters at the Centro de Tecnificación de Atletismo in Antequera in February 2025, demonstrating her continued improvement and dedication to the sport.
As a team athlete, Rueda has also contributed to Spain’s relay efforts, competing in the 4×100 meters relay with a best time of 46.31 seconds recorded in May 2024. Her early career showed promise when she ran 25.24 seconds in the 200 meters short track in March 2017.
