Amber is a talented track and field athlete competing for Alabama A&M University. She is currently a junior specializing in jumps events 12. Standing at 5’7″, Jamison hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and previously attended North Atlanta High School
Jamison has made significant contributions to Alabama A&M’s track and field program:
Relay Success: She was part of the 4×400 meter relay team that achieved a time of 3:46.47, which stands as the school record3. This performance came during the 2024 SWAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, where the team finished 5th4.
Individual Events: Jamison competes in multiple jumping events:
- Long Jump: Her best performance in college is 5.49m (18′ 0.25″), set during the 2024 indoor season7.
- Triple Jump: She has recorded a jump of 11.45m (37′ 6.75″) in outdoor competition 4.
